Lots of style here, lovely staff too, a cracking wine list and very scrumptious food - fancy scallops with garlic butter by the open fire?

Peace has finally returned to sleepy Felixkirk following a dramatic transformation by Provenance Inns. They have worked hard to create one rather stylish country inn, keeping period detail in the traditional bar whilst adding a modern garden room and a decked terrace. Enjoy stone floors, wonky beams, open fires, scarlet walls and comfy old furniture – an inviting backdrop for very tasty food... maybe scallops with garlic and parsley butter; pork fillet wrapped in Serrano ham with apple mash and mustard sauce; rib-eye steak with dauphinoise potatoes and a Madeira reduction. There's a cracking wine list, an intimate private dining room, and the staff are local and lovely. Fabulous moorland walking, too; bring the boots.
