It's not your average pub and you won't find anything other than beautifully dressed tables in the restaurant, with fresh flowers, sparkling glasses, an à la carte menu (they're in the Michelin guide) and an extra private dining room upstairs. Owners Guy and Brittany are also chefs, they like to do everything properly here and mostly things are homemade, even the breads and pastries. If they can't make it themselves they'll source it from the best producers possible. Beer is local and hand-pumped and you'll also find old favourites on the menu like Scotch eggs, kid's burgers and dog treats alongside the tasting menus. The garden is open for drinks from 11 each morning until late, so on sunny days you can spill out and peruse the veg patch with a glass of something from the long wine list.
