- The One Bull is approximately 600 years old and is one of the oldest pubs in Bury St Edmunds.
- The One Bull stands next to the old abbey walls and its name is believed to stem from the Latin word 'bulla' which was a papal seal used on official documents.
- Bury St Edmunds is home to Greene King and also to our craft brewery, Brewshed, whose beers can be sampled at The One Bull.
- If culture is your thing, look no further. The town houses the Theatre Royal, the only surviving example of a Regency theatre in the country as well as award winning music and arts venue The Apex and the charming Abbeygate Cinema.
