The Cow at Dalbury Lees - Pub in Derbyshire
The Green,
Dalbury Lees, Ashbourne, DE6 5BE, Derbyshire
England,
United Kingdom

The Cow is a smart and stylish gastropub facing the village green, with a friendly welcome, set deep in the South Derbyshire countryside. Sunday lunch is served with hazelnut crusted parsnips and truffled cauliflower cheese, but why wait until the weekend? Step inside to where the copper-topped bar gleams and the fire leaps in the old stone fireplace. Perch on an upcycled milk churn to down a pint of local ale and choose from the imaginative menu with daily specials. Perhaps honey glazed peach, prosciutto and shave manchego rocket salad, followed by the famous Cow burger. Leave room for Passion fruit and chocolate bavarois with hazelnut praline and caramel sauce. You're in Derbyshire's Golden Triangle so take your time to admire the many little villages and vast views on offer in this part of the Dales.
